Who is eligible to receive Homeless Prevention services from Thomas House Family Shelter?
Individuals who have graduated from Thomas House Family Shelter and agree to participate in case management and budgeting services at least once a month are eligible for the following services:
  • Access to our Food Pantry
  • Participation in our Youth Development Program
  • Access to Donations
  • Attendance at Thomas House Events and use of Thomas House Resources
What is the savings policy for program participants?

Participants agree to take 40% of their savings with them and leave 60% in savings.

What are Housing Navigation Meetings, and do I need to participate in them?

Housing Navigation Meetings provide guidance and support for finding stable housing. To continue receiving services, participants agree to attend these monthly meetings.

What additional programs and services are available through the Homeless Prevention Program?
As a participant in the Homeless Prevention Program, individuals have access to:
 
  • Parenting and life skills classes
  • Career development services and workshops
  • Mental health services provided through Thomas House
These offerings are designed to help individuals and families maintain stability and improve their quality of life.
