Nate Shepherd
Nate Shepherd
Nate Shepherd, Development Manager, joined Thomas House in March 2025. He was born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, where he started his career as an associate pastor. After moving to Phoenix, he moved through different roles in the private sector in operations and sales. However, his calling was to go back to work in nonprofits. He joined an international food aid organization called Feed My Starving Children, where he worked as a regional development advisor. Unfortunately, his time at FMSC ended due to COVID-19, after which he and his family moved to California, where he took a job in public affairs for a government agency.
Nate earned his Bachelor’s in Communications and Public Relations from Colorado State University and has gained plenty of experience in different sectors, but always wanted his career to be in nonprofit work.
