2nd Annual Thomas House Temporary Shelter: Charity Golf Tournament

Good News! Thomas House Temporary Shelter had another incredible golf tournament!

The tournament was held at the beautiful and challenging Tustin Ranch Golf Club on May 15. It kicked-off at 1 pm and ended with a western barbeque dinner and awards presentation. There were 66 paid golfers, an increase over last year, who enjoyed the links and great California weather. We were honored to have the Ascher Foundation as our Presenting Sponsor for the second year. Other sponsors:

All players received a beautiful monogrammed blue tote bag stuffed with "goodies". An energized group of volunteers assisted the check in and gave support to the committee co-chaired by Nick Roberts and Rich McDonald. We are proud to say that the teamwork doubled the 2007 net proceeds and gave over $26,000 to the shelter!!

We are now looking forward to holding the 3rd Annual Thomas House golf tournament in late May or early June. Please keep us in mind and mark you calendar for next year. Our goals will be to significantly increase the attendance and to gain more sponsorships and underwriters, so we can continue to assist the families and children of Thomas House.
